The Gorge Kids Triathlon returns to Waterfront Park in Hood River on Sunday, Sept. 17th. The event is a fun and safe entry-level triathlon open to all elementary aged kids.
Three separate start waves accommodate beginning, intermediate and advance levels for kids in grades K-5. The swim portion is inside the designated swim park; non-swimmers may walk/run through shallow water along the shore. The bike and run courses are within the park area, which will be closed to traffic. For detailed course information, levels and distance click on the map below.
Entry fee for the Gorge Kids Triathlon is $20 prior to Sept. 14 and $30 on the day of the event. All participants receive a T-shirt and water bottle! Proceeds from the event go to Hood River County elementary schools to enhance physical education programs and promote health and fitness.

Participants can also pick up a 2017 Registration Form at any Hood River Valley Elementary school and return to that school’s front office by Friday, September 14th.
